Terms and Conditions
1. All works will be carried out as per estimate/quotation or as described in our specification issued (where applicable). 2. All works will be carried out by fully qualified engineers to current applicable british standards. 3. All work undertaken are covered by our £5,000,000 public liability insurance. 4. Every precaution will be taken to ensure that plant and materials are adequatly stored on site. 5. We have assumed that all reasonable facilities will be provided by the client to allow us to complete the work expeditiously. 6. Premises will be left clean and tidy on completion and all rubbish will be cleared by us or our specified agent (unless the client requests otherwise). 7. Our estimates are fixed price estimates additional works will only be undertaken following the receipt of a written work order. 8. All work undertaken is subject to VAT at the current standard rate. 9. All plant materials and other equipment (including cleaning materials) will be supplied by us unless otherwise agreed. 10. When undertaking testing works we accept no responsbility for damage to portable appliances, computer or other electrical equipment left plugged in or directly connected to circuits by the client. 11. Test and completion certificates applicable will be issued on payment of final invoice. 12. Our terms are full payment within 10 days of invoice or as agreed in writting prior to commencements of works. Interim are payable on application or as agreed. 13. Copies of our health and safety and enviromental policy statements are available on request. 14. All works undertaken are covered by 12 months defects from the date of completion. 15. We will endevour to carry out all works with the minimum amount of disruption to clients and tenants possible. Out of hours and weekend work can be undertaken if required. 16. A written works order is required before commencement of any works undertaken for companies or local authorties. 17. Additional works or variations to an on going project will only be undertaken on receipt of a written variation order. 18. All materials remain the property of Draper Electrical Limited until final payment is recieved. 19. All late payments are passed on to a third party collections agent operating on our behalf (late payment and interest charges are applicable).
